UGH, MY COMPUTER ISN'T WORKING!

This is the worst! I have to get my work/studies/game on done and my computer just won't power on/turn on/boot up. I've tried all sorts of things like pressing the start button, checking the outlet and even holding down the power button, but nothing is working! Maybe there's something wrong with the motherboard? I'm totally out of ideas. Does anyo
